Pulmonary Function test (PFT)
The pulmonary function tests comprise a set of tests that test how well the lungs absorb air and expel it, as well as the speed at which they transfer gasses like oxygen from the atmosphere to the circulatory system of the body.
lung function tests can be useful in determining the efficiency of the lungs. The most fundamental test is the spirometry test. The test is a measure of the amount of air that the lungs hold. It also determines the force with which one can remove air out of the lung.
